D.F. Hockey has produced excellent hockey players and coaches in the past and continues to go from strength to strength. Our Head of Hockey and head coach, Ms Rachel Gibson, has been coaching at D.F. since 2015 and has built a solid coaching structure based on her E.P. and S.A. Masters Hockey experience.

On the umpiring front, D.F. is proud of our own Chloe Terblanche, who has gained provincial colours in umpiring. Congratulations, Chloe! D.F. is proud of you.

Our D.F. Malherbe Astro-Turf will be in operation in July 2025. This has been a long-time dream of the school and we are immensely proud of this achievement. We also boast a mini-Astro to accommodate the growing number of hockey players at our school.
